1999 Subaru 2000 turbo GF8 wagon
11. 5 months MoT
A very rare unmessed with, virtually standard Impreza turbo
Standard exhaust system (when did you last see one of those!)
Standard interior in excellent condition ( no rips tears or even any bolster wear)
Standard factory 2 way glass electric sunroof
Standard 16 inch alloys
Standard alarm immobiliser (2 working key fobs).
Everything works including the separate headlight washers.
No issues for the MoT, the only comment was the front anti roll bar links and I have just ordered those.
There are a couple of issues with the body as shown in the pictures but it is really clean underneath with none of the corrosion these can suffer from at the back (rear subfame is perfect, as are the rear quarters, inner wings etc).
Just had new rear dampers, springs and top mounts.
A matched set of Uniroyals were fitted September last year, maybe 1500 miles since then.
New plugs, leads, coil pack, 1st Lambda sensor, K&N filter (in the Standard filter housing)
Standard dump valve.
Has had a high pressure fuel pump fitted.
Uprated headlight bulbs.
New rear load area carpet and H/ D rubber floor mat (to try and stop stuff sliding about) and retractable load cover.
Drives really really well, tight solid and just as an Impreza should.
Has been my daily driver, starts instantly and utterly reliable (again as an Impreza should be!).
Now I have left work it is just not getting used as much (if at all) so maybe time to move it onFantastic drivers car, huge fun to drive, reliable, sounds fabulous and still very usable and practical as a daily driver.
