I am selling my 1961 series 2 land-rover registration YKG701 showing 82, 000 miles on the clock.
Road Tax, ULEZ, & MOT exempt
Having originally served in the Cardiff city fire service, once retired 701 then went on to be enjoyed as a show vehicle by the previous owners.
A previous (exact date unknown) Extensive restoration was carried out which involved stripping everything down to the chassis before being rebuilt. engine, electrics, bulkhead/ footwells and body panels all look to be in good condition.
Low range/ 4WD selectors function correctly, lights, indicators & wipers all working, as are the gauges except for the fuel gauge which is permanently indicating 3/ 4 of a tank,
Benefiting from a recent new roof frame, exmoor trim canvas top and a color change to blue. A recent invoice (2024} the brake master cylinder was replaced. Starts on the button,/ runs and drives nicely.
