Lightweight and more flexible parabolic leaf springs, and an interesting option: Overdrive, an extra lever that adds 10–12 km/ h in each gear. So there are 4 short gears, 4 normal gears and 4 long or intermediate gears.
The flat bonnet retains the original mounting for the spare wheel on it. Another interesting accessory: lockable hubs.
The vehicle has been completely dismantled to sand and repaint the chassis, as well as the aluminium bodywork, repaint done. Everything has been refreshed and all wear parts replaced. New shock absorbers, new clutch, etc… Always kept dry and garaged. Since 1974 it has had only two owners.
This Land Rover, on Spanish plates, is on site in Andalusia. I can arrange the transfer to French registration.
It’s a very interesting model, with useful options and fittings, a robust, versatile 4x4.
