Description
Being the last know example with the austin dealer option full Wood and Pickett body kit I never planned to sell this one but too many cars, not enough space means something should really go. This is a well known car within the Montego and Maestro owners club, I have even see it shared on random social media classic and retro groups too. Remarkable condition especially for a Montego, has to be one of the best remaining. Looking at the MOT history will tell you this is a very solid example that hasn't been welded and doesn't need to be.

There is masses of paper work from original brochures, services, mots and parts. I've had a fair few older cars and none are have been as problem free and sorted as this.
Good bits:

Tyres are toyos and have loads of life left
The bodywork is excellent
The engine pulls well, no smoke, clutch is good and the gearbox excellent.

No rust to the sills or structure

New Battery
Original and working Phillips radio cassette
Electric windows and sunroof all functioning
Pre facelift model with the red carpets and seatbelts
Bad bits:
There is a small amount of corrosion on the drivers side rear arch as shown in the YouTube video above, it hasn't changed since then. I have a spare wing included should the day come but it's not worth it in my opinion given how minor it is.
I'm only listing it here at the moment because I'm not entirely sure about parting with it but if I can get the money I've spent on it to this point back I will. I have a backup option but it would involve it going unused for months or years at a time.
