MOT 22. 05. 26I purchased the 2A as a very tired and poor condition landy, bulkhead and chassis were totally shot, and at a time when series were on a high as regards to prices, it then sat for a year or two (possibly more) and in that time I had purchased a galvanized chassis while I worked on others vehicles, prices then dropped lol, ideal time to head down a slightly different route which I enjoy and makes me happy.
Why will you love it? That's a good question.
If you are a fan of something that looks nearly period with the assumption that someone has only popped larger wheels on, is nice and clean looking but once you look you can see and appreciate the thought, time, engineering and fabrication gone into making it all fit together and make it look as though it belongs then that is what you will like.
I have been very fortunate to have worked on and built many vehicles from resto to modified, ford to Landrover, but this is only the second vehicle for myself, started out as an oily rag turned into a full on build with the supercharger and its whistle looking like it belongs, its a sprightly motor and with its electronic ignition its a reliable drive, still drives and rattles like a series should,
