This is my 5 cylinder Kawasaki S2 Special with an Allen Millyard engine , I bought the bike dismantled about 6 years ago from a guy who sent all the parts to Allen to convert.
Unfortunately the owner didn’t complete the build and started selling off the chassis parts and left the rest in his barn , the engine was dry stored for 20 years and never run .
Rather than look for the missing KH chassis parts I decided to buy a complete S2 as I always preferred the early bikes and fitted the engine which had early S1 cases into this frame.
Everything was restored, frame and black work powder coated , all chrome work redone , all fasteners rezinced , body work painted , the seat is original with original cover.
Engine wise all did was remove the heads to check the bores were clean , clean and check the ignition , clean out the carbs and got the bike running.
I found that the clutch wasn’t strong enough for the extra power so I fitted a KH400 clutch with the extra plate and HD springs it now works great.
The exhaust is all hand made in stainless steel and is a 5 into 2 system which is nice and light and also shows the engine off rather that have 5 awkward pipes, most people didn’t notice the two extra cylinders at first but now everywhere I go people ask if it’s a Millyard due to his TV and internet fame.
This bike pulls so strongly and is happy sat at 70mph or bumbling at 30 if feels very smooth and four stroke like, Allen days these engines are the smoothest he has made ( there are 6 others world wide but all in KH chassis, and most is collections or museums).
