All instruments are clear and legibleI bought the car due to it's immense rarity, beautiful lines closely matching the 3002 csi which has saured in value in recent years. This BMW 2002 Baur convertiable certainly doesn't go unnoticed. Amongst the last truly traditional coachbuilders in Germany, and treated the 2002 with this curious layout - a Targa roof ‘cabrio coach’ arrangement that maintained plenty of rigidity while still getting that lovely stiff breeze into the hair of a whole generation of European drivers.
This particular 1974 example has been well-maintained, with a solid and straight bodywork that has been undersealed in the past. The paintwork presents a lovely, retro patina, while the interior is in decent condition for age. The result is a rare, eminently drivable cabrio-coach car that's loaded with retro character that's easy to remove. This a very rare model that is rising in value. Potential buyers are invited to arrange a viewing.
