Rare Turbo SE version
The Lotus Esprit hardly needs a lengthy introduction – this iconic car has appeared in many films and is known by just about everyone. One of the cornerstones of the Lotus brand, the Esprit was produced for an impressive 27 years, during which over 10, 000 units were hand-built in the UK across five generations (or evolutions, if you prefer). The original design featured sharp, angular lines, which gradually evolved into more rounded shapes. Most versions were powered by a Lotus four-cylinder engine, often turbocharged, though a V8 model was introduced in the 1990s. We’ve always had a soft spot for Lotus – that never changes!
The offered car is a 1991 model, in good condition with reasonable mileage, imported from Canada. This is the North American/ Canadian market version. It comes with a folder of service records and invoices documenting its maintenance history. The car is currently undergoing clutch and gear linkage service, along with standard fluid changes and a complete inspection. The engine runs beautifully, doesn’t smoke, and the turbo pulls exactly as it should.
The original exterior is in nice shape, but unfortunately, the interior has been altered by a previous DIY enthusiast, which is something that can be sorted out. This is also reflected in the attractive pricing. It's a well-equipped SE version (Special Equipment), making it an even more appealing classic.
