Owned since 1999 when purchased with 4, 000 miles after restoration from Simon Robinson in Durham.
The chassis is perfectly straight and cars drives with ease and the MG TF is one of most useable T series cars, with independent front suspension.
The XPAG Engine was fully rebuilt with new pistons and con rods by Malcolm Beer of Beer of Houghton in 2000 at cost of £4k and has subsequently only done a further 10, 000 miles. The car has
matching numbers for chassis and engine, and has been maintained by Beer of Houghton using original factory components. The underside is as clean as the bodywork.
The bodywork is in red and all panels have been removed and undergone a full respray in 2019, at a
cost of £3. 5k. All fittings have been replaced or refurbished.
New lights have been fitted all round, including flashing lightbulbs in the sidelights
The interior in Beige, with Leather seats and new beige carpet, and with chrome wire wheels it is always admired wherever it is show. A reliable car that has been on many national and international
tours and events, there is a twin luggage rack over spare wheel for picnic hamper and luggage. The
car has full weather gear with a new mohair hood fitted 2021.
New Uniroyal rainexpert tyres fitted 2021 with less that 50 miles.
