Description

A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine 1969 MGC Roadster, chassis number ** GCNIU7845G (no. 7945)** — among the very last MGC Roadsters produced. Only 4, 542 examples were built in total.
This is an original MGC, not a converted MGB.

The MGC is powered by the factory 3. 0-litre inline-six, offering strong torque, a distinctive exhaust note, and a very different driving character from the four-cylinder MGs.

Location & Export

The car is located in Asker, near Oslo, Norway. Export is straightforward, and I can assist with the process. The car is easy to export to the UK or elsewhere, with the required documentation in place.

Summary

This is a correct, well-maintained MGC Roadster with strong documentation, making it suitable both for regular driving and for long-term ownership as a collectible classic. The combination of originality, late production, and extensive recent maintenance makes this a particularly attractive example.

Serious enquiries welcome. Originally finished in Snowberry White, the car was built in 1969 and exported new to Detroit, USA. It was imported to the UK in 1999–2000, where it underwent a comprehensive refurbishment, including a full mechanical overhaul of the engine, gearbox, and associated components, and was repainted during this period.

In the early 2000s, the car was sold to an MG specialist in Norway, ensuring knowledgeable ownership and continued proper maintenance. I acquired the car in 2021 and have continued to maintain it carefully. Unfortunately, the car now has to be sold due to space constraints. It remains in very good overall condition, both mechanically and cosmetically.
