Description

This a 1200 convertible has been fitted with a later 1300cc engine with a stage 2 head, a pair of HS4 SUs, stainless 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and electric ignition. The engine was built by Triumph specialists Jigsaw Engineering. The car also benefits from an Overdrive gearbox, adjustable coil over suspension and disc brakes. Fog and Spotlights plus AA badge (for year) fitted.
Five powder coated 5 1/ 2" steel wheels and new tyres. (spare is original size for boot space). Bodywork is all good and sound, hood is good with tanneau and hood cover. Interior very nice with new carpet throughout (including boot), re- upholstered seats, door trims and wood dash. Also fitted with Vittese Bumpers.
The car has an extensive history file with all bills from1997 to present day.
Car is exempt from both Tax and MOT.
As you would expect, from the modifications, the car has a more sporty feel than a standard Herald and with the Overdrive gearbox is very capable on Motorways.
Shown locally but unfortunately due to bad health reluctant sale. Good show vehicle, with much interest, and easy to maintain due to front opening bonnet.
