Rebuilt 5 years ago by Gary Burton and Kieth Shaw who are well known experts on these air heads . The frame and swinging arm and various other parts including the valve covers have been powder coated. Engine and gearbox have been vapour blasted prior to rebuild, new clutch, discs and pads , new rear shoes , rear differential vapour blasted and rebuilt . front forks rebuilt with progressive springs, new stanchions , new battery, Calipers rebuilt , master cylinder rebuilt . Brand new period Krauser panniers and mountings . Polished Monza fuel cap {original included}, brand new mirrors {originals included}. Stainless steel fixing throughout . Front fork brace. I have added a sure foot side stand , the original is still fitted . chrome engine bars . Last year the push rod tube oil seals were replaced . This bike is fabulous , starts on the button and rides and runs perfectly . Regularly serviced by me having just been done in May 25 , oils , filters , plugs, fork and diff oil .
Only 4038 R100CSs were ever built,& only 65 left in the UK the R100CS is most definitely a modern R90S & more of a "Riders" bike that accelerates & changes gear so much better than its forebears.
124MPH….. &….. 0 - 62 in 4. 4 Seconds!
It’s ready to go . I would happily ride this bike to the south of France and beyond Only being sold to make way for another classic , otherwise I’d be keeping it . Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for . First to see will buy . Absoluely stunning, well maintained, useable classic, with brand new period panniers, service items and spares included.
