I am selling this one a a light project / re commission.
The bike is a genuine, matching numbers, UK, R100S, and has been unused and garaged for a year or so. The last owner had the bike for 15 years, and the owner prior to him, 13 years, always a good sign.
This is a genuine “S”, and has the 40mm carbs, twin front discs, etc. compressions are even, oil, neutral and charge lights operate as they should, and the bike is off the button, hot or cold. Fuel tank is solid, as is the seat base, and it comes with the period Krauser pannier set. Very importantly, it also comes with the original “S” nose fairing. Fitted with stainless exhausts, Krauser rear rack, stainless brake lines, and handlebar master cylinder conversion.
I’ve just got too much on at the moment, so thought I’d offer it up as a light project. As i say, she runs well, but if you’re going to use it in anger, you’d probably change oils, filters, fit some new tyres, etc. She’s historic status, so MOT exempt, and free road tax of course.
I’d like to think VERY competitively priced for a genuine R100S, and an inexpensive way into ownership.
