Historic vehicle, full restoration to a very high std returning bike to original factory spec. Donor bike came from highly regarded collector, and fully rebuilt to use on road, historic trials, or just to admire. Over £5400 spent long list of OEM parts plus specialist services such as re-bore to +. 05, wheels rebuilt to competition std, and mag coils re-wound. Period upgrades include Renthal bars, dog leg levers, domino throttle and new Betor nitrogen shocks. Starts and rides like new. UK road registered, tax & MOT exempt. Six speed Geared for road use, as it left the Yamaha factory. Set up for pre-mix fuel having removed the unreliable oil injection system. I owned a TY 50 in 1976 and always dreamt of owning a 175. Has to be one of the loveliest bikes to look at. As a retired engineer I set out to restore classic motorcycles and this has been my latest 3 year project.
