1971 - CP150 With Overdrive
I purchased this vehicle privately In November 2021 from a UK Seller.
8 former keepers
MOT & Tax Exempt
Mimosa Yellow with black interior
Extensive History File:
1988 - At 88, 000 miles This car was fitted with the following:
New Short Engine, Stage 2 Fast Road Head with High Lift Cam purchased from Cox & Buckles and fitted by Enginuity TR Specialists. High Pressure Rocker Oil Feed, Mocal Thermostatic Oil Cooler with Spin On Oil Filter Conversion and Braided Hoses. Kenlow Fan with variable thermostat, electronic ignition, TT Extractor Manifold, TT Stainless Steel Big Bore Exhaust, Bosch Fuel Pump Conversion, Uprated Suspension Bushes, Alloy Steering Rack Mounts, Spax Adjustable Shock Absorbers all round. There are invoices to prove all the above. There are also lots of additional invoices for other work carried out.
Since my ownership the vehicle has had 4 new tyres (April 2023), New Track Rod Ends, All round Flexi Brake Hoses, Recon Front Calipers/ New Pads/ New Rear Shoes/ Wheel Cylinders. Injectors reconditioned by Neil Ferguson, New Throttle Linkage Rods made by Fred Millturn. New plugs, Leads, Rotor, Cap & Coil.
The car body is in great condition with just two tiny rust spots that I can see. One by the front windscreen passenger's side and one small surface spot at the top of the driver's door next to the mirror. It was resprayed many years ago and to be honest it has really stood the test of time. The car has been garaged and never used in the wet since I've owned it, and I understand from the previous owner that this was the case there too.
This being a 54 year old car there are of course going to be little bits and pieces that a new owner may think needs doing - as is typical with any classic car of this age. A very quick old car that is fun to drive. The exhaust really barks especially when the roof is down. With all the suspension modifications it sticks to the road like glue.
Only reason for selling is I have my eye on another vehicle and unfortunately I don't have the room to keep the TR6.
