We purchased this lovely MGF 1. 8 Steptronic in October 2021 from the original owner, making us only the second owners. We have all the original paperwork from when it was first purchased, including the brochure when we purchased the car it only had 14000 miles on the clock, so hardly used in the 21 years the previous owner had it.
It is in the Classic British Racing Green colour with Walnut Mirage cloth/ leather seats. The hood is in good condition and comes with a black roof tonneau. We purchased a glass windstop with MG logo, a second hand black matt hardtop with heated rear window (hardtop does need some tlc) and a removable picnic basket holder for the boot lid.
MOT & service completed 26/ 8/ 2025. MOT due Aug 2026.
Work we have carried out is as follows:
January 2025: repair to nearside front wing above wheel arch following someone reversing into the car, dent was about the size of a football and repaired under the other person's insurance with Churchill Insurance.
December 2024: Brake pads, spark plugs, coil pack, lead set.
March 2024: Full service
September 2023: Brake discs and pads
June 2023: Tyres replaced and wheel balance
September 2022: New radiator
March 2022: Heating thermostat
February 2022: Alternator & 2 tyresWe have had an MGF in the past and decided to buy another one for our retirement, we love this car but sadly we now have 4 grandchildren and need a second car that can seat 4! We will be sad to see it go, it's a great car in classic colours and often admired.
