I purchased this great vehicle in September 2021 from VW lover Mark Steedman but unfortunately I have barely used her.
This wonderful car it was restored in 1991 by the renowned Kentish VW enthusiast Chris Clarke and featured in Volks World magazine in October 1992 & VW motoring magazine in February 1995.
After nearly 18 years of dry clean hibernation in a cosy barn a youthful and a new generation of VW enthusiast Phil Murgatroyd purchased her from Chris in 2010, it required no more than a good clean and polish and a thorough clean out of the badly choked fuel system. Phil loved and cared for her before selling her to Mark Steedman. Mark continued to care and cherish this car, he showed her and drove her all over the UK & Europe
This is a great honest car that deserves to be driven.
Brakes have been checked and cleaned, new plugs, points, oil, leads and battery.
It sailed through the MOT on 9th May 2025 and has done only 8 miles since.
The car comes with loads of paperwork and pictures, to include pictures of the restoration.
