Description

I'm looking to sell my highly desirable 2002 Clio v6, presented in good condition throughout and having been further modified and improved to offer a true retro classic that is becoming increasingly more collectible.

Most viewing this advert will be very aware of the Clio V6. Developed in association with TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing), this phase 1, the original conception, was one of 1, 631 production cars built in total. The car was developed with a wide body and a mid mounted 3. 0 V6 ES9 engine producing 227bhp. The end result became, quite simply an icon of modern motoring creating something as unique and with as much road presence as most supercars!

HJ02KZN was first registered on 19th March 2002 and has 8 previous keepers. It has an exceptionally low mileage of only 24, 754 miles!
The car comes complete with original owners manuals and a service book along with a folder of MOTs and 2 keys. WI have some early dealership history (hard copies) for the first few years until the car was put into storage for several years (we believe around 2008) completing very little mileage between MOTs for almost 8 years of its life. Between 2007 and 2017 it covered a mere (approx) 10k miles, with approx 4 years of that not presenting for an MOT at all. The car has had very little use.

The previous, an avid enthusiast and car collector has owned the vehicle for 4 years. In that time it’s been lovingly pampered and really does show that both externally and internally. It benefits from BC coilovers, R26 megane seats, and an alpine stereo system. Revolution motorsport alloy wheels wrapped in Avon ZV1 tyres and a carbon fibre bonnet. It also has a rare display cover for the engine.

I purchased the car around this time last year, I have attended cars and coffee events and car shows where it always turns heads, the car has been garaged during winter, but unfortunately i will be losing my garage space this winter.

I put it through MOT last august with no advisories, its booked in later this month for its next MOT,

A timing belt service with with water pump and auxiliary belt was carried out in 2022 at a cost of £1, 500 less than 2500 miles ago.

Very unfortunately the vehicle carries a category C marker. This was registered to the car in its very early life in 2003.

It really does show in lovely order and I have priced the vehicle as the cheapest in the country by some margin. Taking into consideration the mileage and general condition it’s an exceptionally cheap way into a seriously cool modern classic.

Vehicle Summary:
- Registered March 2003 (Build number 0253)
- 3. 0 V6 Mid engined
- 227 BHP
- Very low mileage
- Great condition
- Previous owner Garaged and covered / trickle charge by current owner
- Highly pampered
- R26 seats
- Revolution motorsport alloy wheels
- ALPINE stereo
- Carbon bonnet
- Car cover
- Trickle charger

It is still a 22 year old car, It has some marks here and there which is to be expected for the age, its drives lovely an sounds amazing.

The car came with a carbon bonnet, I have since sourced another bonnet, but it is a slightly different shade so will need spraying.

Overall this is a usable classic, sure to increase in value.

I would consider a cheap p/ x (wither something like a clio Williams) or something more practical like an RS4 or RS6
