BMW r51/ 3 1951
This motorbike has been in the first owner hands for almost 50 years and was sold by the widow of him to a private collector. I bought the bike from him in 2012.
The bike is complete and in perfect running order. I ride it regularly. It starts right up every time and runs really smooth. Gearbox is perfect as well as the clutch. I added recently a Pagusa rear seat, those that mount on top of the luggage rack.
It is not a showpiece, but a great bike to enjoy and cherish further. It is complete with matching numbers (frame, engine and ID plate). It is certainly a great unit to transform into a masterpiece or just ride it like it is. It has the original magneto and centrifugal ignition advance and also the 6v original Noris generator.
