1959 Jaguar XK150 FHC, RHD, original UK car first registered in Brighton 08. 10. 1959. Chassis Number: T825034D/ N. 3 former keepers, extensive history file of previous restoration, servicing, repairs plus original buff log book.
Recent work includes removal of carbs & fuel pumps, stripping down, sonic cleaning, overhauled with all new kits from SU, refitted and tuned.
New coil, leads, spark plugs fitted, new fuel gauge sender unit fitted, oil change service carried out.
New carpets and over mats fitted ( previous carpets had moth damage ).
Invoices and photographs of work carried out.
Tyres have min 75% tread remaining and are all in date.
Prior to my ownership the car has been through an extensive restoration and engine spec uprated to 3. 8 S Spec with triple SU carbs.
Oil pressure and temperature gauges operate within recommended specifications.
Uprated brake callipers are fitted all round.
Alloy fuel tank fitted
Stainless steel exhaust system fitted.
Panels gaps, shuts and paintwork all very good.
Recent photos are available showing the car stripped out for the new carpets to be fitted where the bare floor panels are clearly visible.
The car looks striking in the red paintwork and cream interior, uprated dash panel and chrome wire wheels.
The stance of the car is correct, no sagging suspension and it rides and handles very well.
The Moss gearbox is quiet in operation, gear selection is precise and the overdrive cuts in/ out without delay.
The car is difficult to fault, regardless of price.
Professional inspections welcome, full workshop facilities, including 4 post lift are available on site where the underside of the car can be fully inspected and seen to be in excellent condition.

In my view, the XK150 is an ideal classic for the modern world, they drive brilliantly, have no trouble whatsoever keeping up with modern traffic, including motorways, they afford plenty of interior room for taller drivers, they are quite a rare sight on our roads. I call them the "Thinking mans E Type".
I am in the process of a house sale to be completed within the next month, if the car doesn't sell in that time, it will be withdrawn and go into long term storage whilst I sort out my next house purchase.
If you are seriously looking for a well sorted XK150 FHC, this one is seriously worth consideration.
