I am 2nd owner. The lady who was the first owner on purchase and registration used the car in her second home in Greece. Whilst in Greece the car was regularly services by BMW Greece and was subject to the dry atmosphere of Greece.
In my ownership the car has been serviced regularly every year regardless of mileage. The exterior paintwork is in good condition just with a few marks consistent of 20 years.
Very reluctant sale, due to mobility issues. The BMW R 53 S Mini is now considered a Classic. It is powerful and great fun to drive with excellent performance. Considered best engine match with supercharger. Still in every day use and suitable for attendance to regular car shows. Possible now to put on Classic Car Insurance.
The electric sliding glass sunroof is a real bonus following the recent weather!
