Citroen Traction 11D Familliale. 8 seats but configured at the moment as a limousine to undertake a wedding, additional 3rd row seats and all fittings with car. Vehicle has had lots of money spent over the last 4 years parts including, new brakes, Cardon (drive) shaft, rear exhaust, 123 ignition, 12v conversion, H4 headlights, 2 new tyres, power sockets, electric thermostatic fan and new clutch to name some. Just completed a trip around Normandy to observe D-day. A real usable vehicle good for pleasure and weddings. An impressive and attractive car. Originally or so informed the car was manufactured in Paris and sold to a dealer in Normandy, imported into the UK in 2005 and used for weddings in Scotland, eventually being acquired by myself in 2021. This car is a good, solid usable classic, it is not perfect and has flaws as does most things 70 years old (including me) but, as a LWB classic Citroen it’s a good example. A fantastic car for weddings, Cream with a deep red leather look interior and red wool carpets. Modified adjustable drivers seat runners to accommodate a taller person. Up rated indicators on a stalk to aide drivability. All works except the clock.
