What is the RSP?
The Rover Special Products (RSP) Mini Cooper was launched in 1990 as the official reintroduction of the Mini Cooper after nearly two decades. It was the first Rover-era Cooper, limited to just 1, 050 units for the UK, making it highly collectible today. All RSP Coopers came factory-fitted with special features such as a 1275cc engine, twin spotlights, red carpets, half-leather interior, and the iconic "Cooper" decals — setting the stage for the revival of the Cooper badge into the '90s. This example maintains its heritage while adding thoughtful upgrades for improved drivability and enjoyment.
