Welcome to my 2022 barn find rare non-turbo Lotus Elan M100. It has had 3 lady owners then me. Fitted with a unique white interior. It stands out from the rest. As one of only 126 non -turbos that was originally made you have no turbo issues.
The current MOT is until July 2026
There was no MOT from 2009 until when I finished its restoration in May 2023 as it sat in a dry garage for 15 years.
Suffice to say it has been carefully restored. I have all invoices and WhatsApp pictures and videos to prove it. From Cambelt & water pump and too many to list here a respray it has had the full Monty so to speak. It is a head turner that's something you will witness. I replaced the petrol tank, re-grinded the brake discs and many more. Most of the others on sale here have not had this extensive works carried out.
Call me for a list of all the full works. This is NOT the troublesome turbo version that coined the phrase LOTUS Loads Of Trouble Usually Serious). There were only 126 naturally aspirated versions of these cars out of the 3, 855 originally made. All the others are usually turbos and come in yellow, blue, green, turquoise & red The rarest colours in the M100 is White then Beige. When choosing a classic car go for rare is the advice I received.
On bendy roads, in the country this car is a real joy to drive. This car as you can see from the pictures is a stand out. It will attract well wishers saying "lovely car" or "nice car " or is it a Ferrari?
and if you take it to a sea side town folks take pictures and gravitate towards it. In car meets I am usually the only M100 there. There will always be spectators taking pictures of this car. It has been carefully restored and at 34 years old it is impressive.
