Description
Totally restored Ducati elite 200ss from 1965. This bike is in outstanding showroom condition after having a lengthy restoration. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner, a self confessed Ducati nut, who had it rebored, new pistons, valves, crankshaft refurbished, new clutch , all new engine bearings & seals etc, etc. Whilst in my possession I have fitted an electronic ignition system for greater reliability and a 12 volt conversion system and totally re-wired.
New tyres & tubes on alloy rims with new stainless steel spokes. Brand new seat fitted along with new exhaust pipe & silencer. All new paintwork. I had one of these little bikes back in the sixties and they were great when all my mates were riding around on Triumph Tiger cubs and BSA Bantams back in the day they were good for 80+ mph but unfortunately time has taken it's toll on me and realise I'm not a 7 stone teenager anymore so sadly it has to go, I know I'll never find one as nice as this but with my knees being the way they are I struggle with a kickstarter, Whoever buys this terrific little bike will not be disappointed.
