Description
The history of this model is well known among enthusiasts of the iconic Golf 1 GTI, I will not recount the history of this rare and exceptional model offered by VAG FRANCE from 1981 to 1983 for a limited run of 1, 250 units.
This March 1982 Oettinger, colour LP9V, anthracite black, benefited from a very detailed restoration and everything new: engine, gearbox, running gear, brakes, bodywork, interior, etc...
It has just completed its 3, 000 km engine break-in, and it runs perfectly.
An important file of invoices.
Volkswagen Classic certificate.
FFVE certificate to switch to a classic vehicle number plate if you wish; it has normal registration in my name for 9 years. Bought 9 years ago from a Golf 1 enthusiast, I am its 5th owner since its arrival in Tarnos in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques in March 1982.
I dreamed of an anthracite Oettinger and
it had only 190, 000 km but its engine was very tired with paintwork dating from around twenty years ago to replace the original white; a decision to undertake a complete restoration has been made and will take more than 5 years.
