Recently recommissioned after a few years parked on a driveway. The car had a new air filter, oil and oil filter, spark plugs, anti-roll bar bushes and a new CAT fitted in order to pass the MOT. It now has a fresh MOT with no advisories.
The car has low miles for the age – 74. 5k miles at time of writing (car is taxed and insured so may increase slightly).
The car is in great condition inside and out, this is a very clean shell (pic of the underside included). The interior is in good condition, all trims present, no rips or tears in the factory recaros.
Only change from factory is the wheels, but I have a set of factory enkei’s that come with the car, they do need a refurb though so I havent fitted them (see included pic)
Really good example of a rare car. Ready to drive away. Highlights:

The story of the car goes like this… This car was parked on a friend’s driveway for a while until recently when the owner decided to let it go. It then went to another of my mates Ben, who planned to put it on the road and use it as a daily for a while cause he has always liked my car (I have had my Ignis Sport over 10 years and am an admin of the biggest Ignis Sport group on Facebook, Suzuki Ignis Sport Owners Club).
Ben put it straight in for an MOT with nothing but some fresh fuel to see what it needed - it failed on emissions and got few little things as advisories. Following this I spent a while with him going through stuff and checking all the sensors were working and we found the pre-cat lambda had failed so he replaced that. He changed the oil and the spark plugs and air filter. Went for retest but the tester did emissions first and it failed again so he aborted the test.
Ben was losing interest at this point, wanting his garage back etc –This is the point I took the car on with a view to just getting it road worthy and selling. I love these little things and clean not rusty ones like this are getting hard to find!
I trailered it home and went through everything the MOT tester had put as an advisory and to be totally honest it was my opinion that he was a jobsworth - the anti-roll bar bushes were toast so I changed them but everything else he noted, in my opinion, was totally fine so I left them. The exhaust backbox was very leaky so replaced that with new one and took it for another test hoping it would just be the leak making it fail emissions. Alas it didn’t pass – it didn’t get any advisories as I thought but still failed the emissions, but only on CO - textbook CAT failure. So I fitted a brand new CAT on it and took it back and it flew through no issues (the old one was falling apart, most already disintegrated once I got it off).
This is a very clean and tidy Ignis, as evident in the pics, but it is a 21 year old car now so its not in showroom condition but the body and paintwork are generally in very good condition. There is a little dent in each door (see pics), the front wiper arms could do with a lick of paint, the headlights could do with a polish, the AC has no gas. The passenger door doesnt unlock with the central locking. I have insured, and taxed it also and have covered about 200 miles without issue; goes well, drives and stops straight, no weird noises or clunks. V5 is present in my name, has 6 previous owners.
No test pilots! Test drives possible but not unless you put the money in my hand first and prove your insured to drive it - I am more than happy to take you out in the car though.
