I bought this car privately just over 3 years ago and have loved every minute of it. It is a category D car meaning that it has had an accident many years ago deemed too expensive to be covered by insurance but it has had to be repaired to legal standards and has of course passed all of its MOT's since then with the current one expiring end of Nov 2025. I didn't let this put me off for a car of this age and its not been a problem at all.
It has had a few owners before me with the previous one putting a new exhaust system on it which means it sounds great and a very nice set of alloy wheels.
I have had nothing other than the usual wear and tear expenses in the 3 years i have owned it. The catch that releases the hood has become temperamental recently but from research this is relatively easy to resolve for someone who knows what they are doing. I don't have a garage or carport and ideally to preserve a classic like this it would find a home with one but not essential of course.
Roof itself is in good condition with no leaks etc.
All in all, a really good solid example of this classic looking car. I bought it as a 2nd car to enjoy drives out in the summer and crisp winter days and it has been amazing. It looks great, really eye catching with the alloy wheels and exhaust for a bargain price.
i am only selling because we want to but a campervan and can't justify 4 cars for 2 people.
