Rare higher spec Open-Air 1. 6 Polo mk3. This model has an electrically operated full canvas sunroof in perfect condition. It also has central locking, electric front windows and door mirrors and the original Sony radio-cassette player.
It has had 3 previous owners and has only done 41, 444 miles so far. You can see it has been looked after but doesn’t have much of a service record unfortunately. But, in the last year it has had an oil and filter change, a new fuel filter, new cap and rotor and fresh coolant.
Next MOT due in May next year. It’s had new control arms and there’s a few advisories remaining. A precautionary rust repair was recommended and that has now been done by a professional repairer. I’ve always liked Polos and bought this one for my son to learn to drive. That’s accomplished so now this one is looking for a new home.
It goes well due to the 1. 6i engine. With a proper automatic box it’s nice to drive, and comfortable and attracts positive attention.
It’s a nice colour too, Atlantic Blue Pearl. Original, but there’s been a few small paint touch-ups here and there over the years.
