Description
A very early Tasmin convertible, one of the 25 built in late 1980, I have been reliably informed that it was the 2nd convertible off the production line. I have owned it for 3 years, getting back on the road after 15 years in storage. To get it back on the road I have replaced the outriggers, refreshed the injection system, had the radiator recored , along with a new thermostatically controlled electric fan. I have also fitted a full stainless steel exhaust system from ACT. I have replaced the carpets and seatbelts, the rest of the interior is original and is in fairly good order as is the hood. The bodywork does show its age with a few blemishes and there are micro blisters on the bonnet and boot. I managed to find a set of original Telcast alloys (spare included)which I have had refurbished and have also fitted new tyres.
It is an ongoing project , but it needs to be used , I have taken on a new project so I am reluctantly having to let it go.
It has manual steering and has the 4 speed box.
It is obviously tax and MOT exempt, in fact it has only done 200 miles since its last MOT in May last year.
