Description
I will most likely kick myself doing this but here goes….
1963 RHD beetle, I’ve spent loads on this recently on the following
New 1776 engine from Aircooled hut, Engle w100 cam, full flow, external oil filter and fitted with a Kompressor Haus supercharger kit, good for 140+ bhp. Topped off with a Sidewinder exhaust.
New Gearbox built by John Walklett with a 3. 88 ring and pinion for long gears, has a new stage 1 clutch kit.
Empi big brake discs up front, drums on rear, new wheel bearings front and rear, wheel cylinders and brake pipes front to back. Track rod ends replaced too and recent steering box
New tyres all round and big cal look tyres on the rear. The car is lowered but handles well with tyres which provide plenty of grip.
Solid underneath and needs no welding, front left hand floor just replaced.
Brand new interior including door cards, seats, carpets and sound deadening.
All electrics work
Body work is very good, not a show car but very respectable for year.
So… you can probably work out I’ve spent much more on this than the asking price. Since completing this the engine and car have literally covered less than 100 miles.
Bay window project in the garage needs Completing hence sale.
Happy to send more photos is requested.
