E36 318i Convertible
Cheapest in the UK? I need the drive space so unfortunately it has to go now. Finished in Morea Green metallic with light grey leather interior.
Bad points:
Roof does not retract electrically and has some seam stitching failing, the roof works fine folding back manually which can be done in seconds.
Only one grey key.
Good points:
Just sailed through MOT so expiry is 17-08-26
New Vredstein tyres x4 (spare is also new), battery, rocker cover gasket, water pump, thermostat (had a system flush and new coolant) so it can sit in traffic all day at not get hot or bothered!
Bodywork including the wheel arches and alloys are in excellent condition.
Original BMW toolkit in bootlid, locking wheel key and bookpack.
EDIT: i'd like this to go to a good home before winter so reduced to £1500, come and grab a bargain. I bought this car last year from Matt George (features editor of Practical Classics Magazine) it was bought for the magazine to do a featured Scotland road trip in and he needed the space afterwards.
Whilst the roof isn't the greatest (it does its basic job), the rest of the car is a peach and I've loved owning it this last year, but I need to have the space on the drive as my son is learning to drive and will be getting a car soon.
I will be genuinely sad to see it go, I'll miss the wind in my (receding) hair on my way to work (yes, I daily it) and the base model brilliance that it oozes.
