• Survivor, not restored – original upholstery still intact, but could do with some TLC.
• Running original 1912 engine – fitted with new valves; equipped with starter motor for ease of use but otherwise original
• New Blockeley beaded edge tyres for reliable motoring
• New hood and wooden hood bows recently fitted
• Electric headlights (fitted pre-1946) still mounted, plus included a pair of period-correct acetylene headlights
• Prestolite acetylene tank & running board rack included
• Historic provenance: this very car participated in the 1946 and 1947 Glidden Tours in America, with dash plaque still affixed to the firewall. Also see images from the Glidden tour program.
A piece of early motoring history with documented use in postwar tours. This Model T offers the next custodian the choice of preservation, sympathetic restoration, or continued enjoyment as-is.
