Description
1994 TVR Chimaera 400 owned for 7 years (our 4th TVR). MoT March 2026. Garaged and summer use only. Everything works as a it should and has been 100% reliable. Outriggers replaced by previous owner, more recently: alternator, headlight reflectors, front wishbones, ball joints and ARB drop links, all shocks and springs, injectors cleaned, Meta alarm upgrade with remote boot open, diff overhaul, new CV joints & UJ's + more. Large history file, Steve Heath manual and rover gauge cable included.
The not so good bits: Paint has 30 years of stone chips and some micro blisters on the R/ H front wing. There's a small oil leak which sometimes gets a mention on the MoT and some gelcoat cracks to the bonnet and rear bumper area. TVR plate not included. Knee injury forces reluctant sale. Offers considered. Thoroughly enjoyed driving this car, starting with a Vixen in 1984, followed by 1600M and S2 (for 18years), the Chim has been the the best. Recent trips have been the NC500 (1660 miles) and the Outer Hebrides (1890 miles Average 31mpg).
Not a concours car as we like to drive it.
