Description
Anyone who looks regularly on Car and Classic will no doubt have seen my Rover Mini for sale over this past 6 months, and the several price reductions I made in an effort to sell it.
I honestly can't believe what's happened to Mini prices during this past year or so..... they seem to have bombed! No doubt they will come back soon though, so anyone buying now will be getting a real bargain. However, I need the space, so now really need to sell it asap, despite the loss I'll make.
I think I started at £12, 000 pounds, but most recently I dropped it down to just £9, 500 pounds.... yet in all this time, I only had one person come to view it! (they did like it, but ended up buying a cheaper one elsewhere).
So.... in a last ditch attempt to sell the car, I have now decided to ask a rock bottom purchase price of just £7, 995!
As you can see from the description it has the USP of being a NON-IMPORTED model with Air Conditioning! (a rare thing!).
X reg, so one of the last. Colour is Anthracite Grey (which is like a metallic almost-black) and the car drives great, with no known issues.
It has one very tiny indentation on the boot lid, a small scratch on a rear passenger window, and the odd paint chip, but I would describe the both the interior and exterior condition (bodywork and paint finish) as excellent.
MOT to Jan 2026.
Subject to a £16K shell-off restoration in 2019 (photos and receipts with car) with some further paintwork (carried out professionally) done very recently to maintain its amazing condition.
Stainless steel exhaust.
Lovely, comfortable leather seats and walnut dash with no cracks. Loads of service history and bills, including those from being serviced annually in my ownership. I bought this car as a classic runaround / 2nd car 2. 5yrs ago, and have loved driving it regularly since. I'd always wanted a classic mini, but hate being hot in summer, so had to get one with a/ c. I thought it would have to be an import until I came across this one which had originally been destined for Japan, but ended up being sold here in the UK. The fact it had been so comprehensively restored several years previous, sealed the deal for me.
I now have two replacement cars however, so having scratched that Mini itch, I'm ready for somebody else to enjoy it!
