Description
Citroën D Special, 1970 year model with push button doors, original taped steering wheel and dash mounted rear view mirror. Recently recommissioned with a basic service, new exhaust flexi pipe and new front tyres and tubes. Chassis in reasonable condition, has had work to the sills, will need repairing above front screen and the rear end such as rain gutters but rear suspension mounts look good as do inner wing tops inside the boot. All panels need work which are painted in the original AC632 Bleu Platine. Interior is all correct, the black targa seats have covers on them but still retain their shape. The fuel sender unit needs replacing as the tank is full but the gauge reads almost empty. Now in a driveable condition after sitting unused at the owner's house for a number of months. Imported from France 20 years ago by a leading Citroën DS specialist this car has been in its present UK ownership since then residing in South London. Used regularly over the years and maintained by various marque specialists however a combination of family commitments and the obvious need for restoration works have led to the decision to sell. We are advertising this car on behalf of the customer but purchase will be direct from the owner. V5 is present. Videos can be sent on request.
