For sale is this gorgeous 1985 Mini City E 1000 survivor on behalf of its owner who is retiring.

Unrestored cherished car.
This time warp Austin Mini City was first registered on 10th July 1985.
It was supplied new by “ E. B. R. & D. W. Cracknell of Station Garage, Thurston, Bury St. Edmonds, Suffolk to its first owner Mrs. Mabel L George of Woolpit Bury St. Edmonds.
It received its second service on 18th April 1986 @ 2, 180 miles.
It appears that Mrs. George kept her Mini until summer 1987 as it gained a new owner on 10th July 1987 with just 3, 849 miles on its clock at a selling price of £2, 945
Its new owner made a comprehensive log of his Minis running costs and parts that he replaced over the years and in October 1999 at 45, 483 miles, he had its original cylinder head converted to unleaded fuel. He even logged his best fuel consumption as 64. 8 m. p. g. ! It appears that he kept it up until May 1998.
Awards -
1999 - At the Stanford Hall Mini Owners club meeting in conjunction with “ Mini Magazine “ , this car was awarded 2nd place.
2003 - At the “ Mini In The Park “ Performance Direct Concours “ event at Cornbury Park on Sunday August 17th 2003, the car was awarded 3rd place in the 1984 - 92 Standard Class pre injection.
This car is original and un restored.
It has a comprehensive history file, which includes its owners hand book, Service book & consumer guide. Plus all old MOT certificates which confirm this examples milage.
It’s current owner fitted New chrome bumpers etc etc but the original black ones will be supplied with the car.
