Ford Fiesta 1987 Firefly - with subtle modifications.
The Car:-
In 2023 the car was imported from Germany, having been exported to Germany - by the same owner - one previous owner - which is when the car was acquired.
The car was MOT'd and as expected following the German test - she passed.
In early 2024 the car was stripped down and any points that needed any future attention were addressed. This included a wheel arch, and inner / outer sills and a rear panel (Gen Ford). The sunroof tray and surrounding roof skin - is great shape/ immaculate. The car then had a full respray.
The underside of the car has been sprayed with stone chip to protect.
The engine bay has a few small areas of rust (not rot) these ares have been treated with rust neutraliser.

Mechanical:-
A freshly bored early, CVH 1. 6 'Hemi' block was bored to 0. 5mm oversize.
New rings, new main and big end bearings installed - all new gaskets etc Fresh early ported head with a CVH22 camshaft, Kent springs / Venier etc.
Note - the car has done 150 miles on running in oil and has now got fresh oil and filter and completed another 100 miles of running in.
Janspeed four branch manifold and matched Janspeed exhaust
Butterflies removed from the DFT carb, manifold heavily ported to match ported DFT internals.
XR2 ignition with a new coil.
XR2 Alternator bracket and NOS alternator.
XR2 cradle, driveshafts and 5 speed gearbox.
Wheels, Brakes & Suspension:-
Front XR2 brakes, EBC grooved discs and red stuff pads
KYB suspension, poly top mounts - XR2 spec
KYB springs - XR2 spec/ ride height etc.
XR2 Panhard & rear roll bar.
XR2 tie rods.
XR2 steal wheels (13 x6) powder coated with matched tyres. I also have the original wheel trims.
