One of less than 150 of all P1800 series cars (ie including the later Estate and FI models) currently on UK roads. What makes this rare Coupe special is it is one of the last of the 1800S with the more desirable chrome dash and steering wheel, and the 2. 0 litre normally aspirated engine. The red interior is unmarked and features the original spec 'Volvo' embossed logos.
The car was sold new to the USA and imported to the UK in 2018. It is in superb rust free condition with no signs of any welding. Excellent white paintwork with Minilite wheels, often referred to as 'Saint Spec'. A subtle vinyl Saint' decal on the rear pays homage to the famous TV series. The car starts, stops and steers as it should with no known issues. The overdrive works perfectly. The car performed faultlessly on a recent trip in hot weather to the East Coast. It really is a joy to drive.
The car is never driven in the wet and resides in a dehumidified garage alongside my Lancia Flaminia GTL

A comprehensive programme of improvements was carried out over 2 years post import. Work includes - retrim, all new rubbers, steering joints, Bilstein shocks, new wheels and Guigaro tyres, paint correction, electronic ignition, chrome parts etc, all sourced from Volvo Specialists here and Sweden.
