Description
The car was registered in London in 1961 and has had 6 owners. It has a major restoration in 1991, and I purchased the car privately in 1997 from the fifth owner, in Essex. It has been garaged when not in use since then.
The bodywork is in good condition, having undergone a recent respray. A major overhaul of the battery, starter coil points and plugs took place within the last 2 years. The hood is in good condition, and the black tonneau cover is watertight.
The overall appearance is of a stunning example of the marque. The car starts without difficulty and drives well, This MGA was purchased from a friend , who had a collection log classic vehicles.
I have enjoyed driving this car for almost 30 years, and participated in numerous rallies and parades. Ii have loaned it to my godson, and later my daughter to tour round the lake district after their respective weddings. The vehicle has only let me down on 2 occasions, and both were failure of the ignition coil, the latter occasion was recently when it had a major overhaul.
