Model to be valuedThe history of the Triumph GT6 began in 1966, as a fastback version of the Spitfire, by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. Powered by the six-cylinder engine from the Triumph Vitesse, the GT6 offered superior performance to the MGB GT of the time, earning it the nickname "the poor man's E-Type." Throughout its production run, the GT6 underwent three main versions (Mark I, II, and III), with significant improvements to the rear suspension, such as the adoption of the Roto-Flex system on the Mark II, and styling and technology updates until the end of production in 1973.
