Thank you for your interest in our Porsche Diesel Master 408.
As connoisseurs will have noticed, this is the rarest Porsche specimen, with the well-known seven gears and tandem seating.
The 408 Master was actually intended for the American market, a few original European examples were produced. This is one of the rarest original European examples that is supplied with hydraulics and a lifting setup.
This Master is in very good condition. Fully restored a few years ago.
The four-cylinder 50 HP engine starts immediately and drives fantastically. The engine has been fitted with numerous new parts and the cylinder heads have recently been skimmed and refaced.
Moreover the engine is smoke- and oil-free!
The steering gear has been completely refurbished and, moreover, fitted with new quality components, so this Master can be steered with two fingers!
Complete with the rare wheel weights and the two original front weights.
The chassis and bodywork have been sandblasted in an automotive paint shop and repainted in the original Porsche colour.
New wiring, lighting, fuses and battery.
New seats, seat springs and new Fender seats with cushions.
The seven gears shift perfectly and quietly! The brakes work well, including the handbrake.
Four new tyres.
Lifting system, front and rear PTOs work well.
Crucially, however, this Porsche bears the same numbers! The engine and chassis numbers match.

Top investment and of the small production run only a few specimens are known.
After restoration it is kept dry and warm in the collection and occasionally visited for a small gathering.
