I puchased this car from the original owner in 2017. Who had owned the car from new since Feb 2006.
I have used the car mostly as a sunny-day weekend car, and taken it to Europe on a few occasions.
The car participated in a track day at Brands Hatch in 2018, and a driver training day earlier this year.
Other than that, and as you can see from the mileage on the MOT history, it has been seldom used due to owning other vehicles.
Most years, the only mileage increase has been taking it to the MOT station and back.
Some years the car had no usage at all, but it has always been dry stored in a bubble, on a CTEK charger and has been regularly serviced.
Bad stuff:
In 2018, a cyclist fell on to the driver's door, leaving a dent (but no scratches).
This was pulled out, but has left some ripples visible in some lights.
There are some stone chips/ light marks around the vehicle, but the general condition is good for a 20-year-old car.
The tyres are getting old, and I would replace them soon.
This has been factored into the price.
Highlights:
In classic Honda style, mechanically, the car is perfect. - I've never had any problems during my ownership. It starts on the button, every time.
It's incredibly easy and cheap to service, and sounds incredible when the VTEC engages.
This car, being a February 2006 car, falls into the lower 'pre-March 2006' tax band (K*), saving you £300+ per year in road tax compared to a car registered just a few weeks later.
Meaning this is one of the very last S2000s sold in the UK that is eligible for the cheaper bracket.
This cost-saving alone makes it a highly sought-after car.
The S2000 is already a modern classic and I'm certain will continue to appreciate in value, but I can't justify holding on to it any more without using it to its full potential.
