Excellent Condition.
A rare opportunity to acquire an equally rare car!!
I imported this from Portugal about 18 months ago, purchasing it from a retired Renault main dealer's private collection.
The car was still garaged at the old Renault dealership. I bough this one and also the guy's 8S rally car. There is a pic of the two cars in the dealership and also a pic from a magazine the cars were featured in.
Extremely solid car that looks and drives exceptionally well, a real head turner.
The Gordini stripes are vinyl so can be removed should the new owner wish to.
Excellent tyres on period Cosmic alloys in superb condition.
The interior is in stunning standard condition.
Since buying the car I had it totally checked over, fully serviced, oil and filters etc and brakes overhauled.
I have had an electric fuel pump fitted ‘to help’ the mechanical one and to save cranking the engine to pump the fuel up to the carb after a lay off.
It has a very purposeful stance with the ‘bubble’ arches which have been done extremely well and they would appear to be steel NOT fibreglass. A magnet sticks to them!!!
Only reason for selling, as per usual, I need to down size my collection.
This car really is in exceptional condition.
I am an honest person and the only fault I know off is as follows:-
The petrol gauge is a bit temperamental.
Viewing and inspection welcomed.
I regularly drive this to local meets, round trips of about 40 miles.
I could probably arrange transportation for a competitive fee.
If a foreign buyer is interested I can put them in touch with the transport company I used to bring it over from Portugal. I am happy to assist in any way I can.
