Below is a description of the work I have done on the bike, originally came from Cannock via Ebay, original UK bike, I did all the work including the crank rebuild but not the paintwork

Suzuki T125 “Stinger” 1970 UK Model from new, age related registration. Originally Metalflake Red but now in the Aztec Gold
Restored completely by myself.
Obtained as a rusting relic through Ebay in 2016 in very poor condition but original frame and engine numbers, unfortunately the crank cases were too corroded (holes) , so a replacement engine was obtained, and parts of it used restore.
Frame stripped and re-surfaced, painted with black cellulose
Original forks not present so replacements found through Ebay from Arizona, same for the front mudguard which is the correct part for the bike.
UK handlebars and clocks from new so quite unusual with the lower narrower bars
Rewire from scratch with modern connectors but retained the original Sumoto label. The original rectifier is in place for looks but a modern silicon rectifier does the work.
Battery is the original part No but with a modern “dry” cell inside
New front rim, rear is replated original, new front hub and brake shoes
All the chrome parts were resurrected by Chrome Restoration specialists in Folkstone (cost a fortune). New seat cover, Seat Foam and chrome trim.
All engine rubber parts original vgc, air filter to carb rubber is a replica item
Rear indicators NOS but the fronts are pattern items. New tyres. New chain. New Air filter.
Engine rebuilt from scratch, crank has new bearings (C3 clearance) and seals, these are modern parts not ancient stock so the engine should have a good life ahead of it. All other bearings and seals NOS
Clutch shock absorber rubbers are new.
Engine rebored to +0. 5mm, new pistons, rings, little ends etc.
The oil lines are in good condition and have new valves fitted, oil pump works perfect and is set up.
Original fuel tap with new seals in place and working but I have a modern replacement included.
Rear shocks rebuilt and look like new.
Exhausts are OK but 55 years old so not pristine
Two problems, the tank was professionally painted 5 years ago but for unknown reasons the paint has developed some cracks (the painter has disappeared) . Maybe due to storage in a hot conservatory, left cylinder head has a chipped fin. (replacements can be obtained)
Starts easily ticks over and runs well.
Includes a folder containing a copy of the original parts book, lots of receipts wiring diagrams, crank rebuild details (runout etc) V5 and all documents supporting the age related regThe Bike presents well and runs well
