Description
1977 BMW R100 with sidecar . 1000cc , fitted with leading link front forks , twin discs on front , single disc on rear , mini brake on sidecar.
Has been upgraded to a later light flywheel , electronic ignition engine , with the even later USA style cylinder heads ( so no worries about valve seat recession) . To match the later engine , a later gearbox is fitted.
Tow bar fitted. The sidecar is a " tradesman " type plywood box , ideal for camping trips or touring.
The box is lockable . As you can see from the photos , the box top opens out to use as a table , very handy when camping . As well as the standard horn , i have fitted a much louder air horn , very effective in attracting attention .
Viewing is welcome , Test driving only if full price money is in my hands . ( especially if you have never driven a sidecar outfit before ) . Mileage is high , but none of the moving bits have done all the miles . Last photo is of dodgem , available at extra cost ( needs repainting ).
The outfit is to be viewed and picked up from Lostock Hall just South of Preston
