Up for sale is a beautiful example of the SLK55 AMG, by far the best 'baby' GT car I have ever driven. The car has a full 12 months MOT, full service history, lower tax bracket and wants for absolutely nothing. It truly is ready to be enjoyed, and I shall miss it dearly.
The car presents itself extremely well, it really is the closest thing that you will get to showroom condition for a 20 year old car. It looks really smart on the optional Turbine alloy wheels, which have been refurbished in Anthracite. The only modification on the car is the X-pipe exhaust alteration. The car retains factory aesthetics whilst unleashing a little more of that V8 roar. It sounds fantastic and is certainly louder than standard, however it does not drone one bit. With the roof up and cruise control on, you'd think you were in a Prius... almost! When you put your foot down is when you can really notice it. You'll notice inside there is also carbon interior trim, an option that I haven't seen on one of these before. The car has the upgraded heater control unit (with ice-cold AC), Harmon Kardon Logic-7 speaker system, Air-Scarf, 6 disc changer, COMAND Nav, and the sought-after limited edition wind deflector.
Full transparency, the car has had a little bit of bodywork due to being scraped by a van in a car park (passenger rear quarter). I have full documented photographs of the damage, the repair process and of course the car as it sits now. You would absolutely never be able to tell. It's a fantastic repair that was carried out at great expense.
Everything works as it should, the roof operates perfectly and the car is nothing short of a dream to drive. If you're in the market, I implore you to come and try it out. I will be very sad to see it go.

Collection Leicester, 5 mins from JCT21. As mentioned, the car has full service history. Much of this is Mercedes main dealer history and there is the odd stamp from a specialist garage too. The last service was at 73, 360, less than a thousand miles ago. In terms of maintenance, the car benefits from a new subframe. I cheekily asked to have a look underneath it when it was on the ramp at the last MOT and it is rot-free and visibly recent. I'm sure if you're looking at these cars then you know all about this common issue, and if you don't then I strongly recommend doing your research!
Within the last 100 miles or so the car has had a new battery and a new drive belt, at the second most recent service there was a brake fluid change as well.
