Note: The engine sitting in the car has an interesting history, as it was entered by Cooper Car Co. with its T39 Bobtail (#CS11/ 1/ 56) for the 1956 Sebring 12 Hours where is was raced by Leech Cracraft and Red Byron. The pairing went on to win their class, taking 21st overall. Early 1957, CS11/ 1/ 56 was later sold to Charlie Kolb. Charlie Kolb then decided to install the engine from CS11/ 1/ 56 into his new Elva MK2 (the one we have on sale today). The T39 Bobtail (#CS11/ 1/ 56) still exists and races, was sold a few years ago by William Ian Son, reputeable specialist in the UK.

A very rare find.

All racing history from day 1 is known, the car was successfully raced in USA, first red, then blue and finished in orange,. Raced by Charlie Kolb then William Peters (owner of a sausage company, he had a miniature sausage fixed on the body).

For some reason car was stopped, dry stored in California in 1962 and in 2018 was unearthed in Longbeach. Hasn't been touched since.

99% complete, parts missing are steering wheel, steering column, gearlever and seats. Seperate plastic box with dials and some parts. Is still wearing Goodyear racing tyres from 1962. I bought as-is, and shipped it back to Europe, through Rotterdam.
