Bodywork is sound but scruffy. door bottoms are good but outer skins would benefit from minor work. Some chrome is good whilst some might require attention.

Up-rated re-cored radiator, high performance 16” electric fan, high capacity expansion tank.
Rear Axle:
Original 3. 8 power-look diff fitted with Timken wheel bearings.

Suspension:
New toy bushes and new Timken wheel bearings fitted when all suspension components stripped down, de rusted and painted. The fitted 420 suspension uprights are part of the brakes upgrade and have stronger stub axles than the originals. Thicker 420 anti-roll bar with new drop links and bushes fitted at this time as were rear spring pads and eye bushes. Classic Koni shocks all round.

Steering:
Uprated pin and bush steering brushes (Amsteer) track rod ends inner and outer (Amsteer.) New upper and lower ball joints. Fully reconditioned steering column with new universal joints, bushes and flexible joint.
The steering tracks straight and no play at the wheel. However the car is quite heavy at parking speeds.

Fuel tank de rusted, repaired, re painted and sealed internally. Copper-nickel fuel pipes and new hoses, facet low pressure fuel pump and filter. engine fitted with rebuilt SU HD8 carbs and straight port manifold from a Series 1 XJ6, after market pancake filters.
