Due to lack of use, I am selling my much loved Morgan Plus 8 Injection. The car has also featured on my YouTube channel series, so you can check out further videos of the car on there. The car has a number of sensible upgrades, as well as being pretty much fully spec’d from the factory with options. It has the later style over riders, as well as high mounted rear brake light. In the last three years, the car has been fully resprayed in its original Corsa red paint, as well as the dark blue leather being recoloured. The car is in immaculate condition, with no marks, dents or damage anywhere, and the paintwork is like new. It has not been used in the wet, and is kept in a Carcoon when not in use. The underside has also been striped back, then professionally treated with Bil Hamber rust prevention products, including all wheel arches. The car is in pretty much showroom condition.
The car has the later 3. 9 fuel injected Rover V8, and was sent to the highly respected RPI Engineering in Norfolk, who fitted an Optimax chip, ignition amplifier and 270 cam. These upgrades transform the engine, ensuring better fuelling and setup to suit the Morgan, rather than the Land Rover/ Range Rover the engine was originally setup for. The car develops well over 200bhp as a result, but drives much more comfortably at low speeds through town. It has custom made sports exhausts which sound incredible. I purchased the car from Melvyn Rutter Morgan in 2021, where they ‘went through it’. I’ve since had it serviced at Oakmere Morgan in Northwich (about 500 miles ago). The previous owner had the car for 20 years, and I have a full box of all receipts and history with the car, including a full service history, as well as a receipt file that’s several inches thick. The car is ready to enjoy, with nothing to do. It comes with full weather equipment, including side screens, 'easy up' hood and tonneau cover Private plate not included.
